Junior Development Structure – Clubgolf access
Pay appropriate fees (see website for member/non-member rates)
Min age of 9 or possess local HCAP
Children under age of 9 can try out at regular sessions to play 5/7 hole blue course to attain local HCAP (some restrictions apply based on ability)
Children under age of 9 must be supervised at all times by legal guardian
DNGC volunteers can supervise children of min age 9
Junior Levels
Beginner level to local DNGC handicap
Safety awareness, participation and cooperation
Basic ball striking and fun drills on practice area tee
Progress gate – consistent safe ball striking
Birdies
Course etiquette on new practice area course
Basic long, medium and short game, complete holes
Progress gate – basic skills test
Eagles
Hole completion on short blue course (5 and 7 holes)
Advanced shots and hazard recovery
Progress gate – DNGC local handicap
Junior Levels
Local handicap to full CONGU competitions
Handicap play on blue 18 hole course
Shaping shots and course management
Progress gate – HCAP limit and report

CONGU 18 hole competitions
Tailored development and team events

JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP
DNGC currently has 3 levels of junior membership.
Junior - 13 to 17 year of age
Juvenile - under 13
Development - under 13.
