Welcome to Dunblane New Golf Club - we have redesigned the web site, and added new features for both members and visitors. Visitors - we welcome visitors to our course and hope you come to play and/or have your meeting or conference. Our course was designed by James Braid and the then Amateur Champion (See History of the course for more info) and provides an excellent test of golf for players of all levels. At approximately 6000 yards , it will prove harder than expected and playing to par or standard scratch is an achievement. You will also get fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. Menu items "Club" and "Visitor Info" will provide you with all the background information you need , and the "Course" section has a hole by hole guide and gallery. Book your tee times online using the left panel icons or "Book a Tee Time". If you are a party of 10 or more contact us for special rates (via Contact/Submit a query, telephone or email) Members MEMBERS PLEASE REGISTER FOR ONLINE BOOKING. SEE NEWS ITEM (RIGHT PANEL) ON HOW TO REGISTER Members or visitors wishing to see an overview of the new site features please either read the manual (available in Members/Document manager in the PUBLIC folder) or we have amended the initial news article to incorporate the detail of the changes (see panel on right or search news)
Detailed articles submitted to the local papers are now on the website - not the one you see later in the paper which is "edited" to suit their space, but ours - in full, as written by Jim Montgomery or Lesley Blair Press Articles are published under "Competitions" and Results are posted in "Results" and both appear in "Latest DNGC News" automatically for a week. "Results" contains the top 3 scores for each division - the story is in "Competitions". Full results are on HowDidiDo (see Members Only / Handicaps for more info on this) Ladies results will also be posted in the near future Any juniors wishing to take responsibility for posting Junior section results please get in touch with Hunter McKay, Junior Convener |
